So, how does the MNS Selangor Branch fit into the overall structure of the Malaysian Nature Society?
The Secretariat (HQ) of the Parent Society takes care of the daily operations with their dedicated team. In contrast, the Selangor Branch consists of members from Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Putrajaya, and Cyberjaya. An elected branch committee, which includes a Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer and ordinary committee members organise activities including scientific biodiversity surveys and advocacy. They work closely with nine special interest group committees to make it all happen.
