NEW MEMBERS

By now, you should have received the new member welcome pack from the President of the Malaysian Nature Society (MNS).

If you’re living in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, or Cyberjaya, you’re in the right place! We’re the Selangor Branch of the Malaysian Nature Society (MNS). MNS has been around since 1940, and our branch started back in 1953 at MNS’s 6th AGM. With 13 other branches across Malaysia, being a member means you can join in on activities all over the country. How awesome is that?

CURRENT MEMBERS

Discover new ways to enhance your appreciation of nature! To enrich your journey with us, consider joining one of our Special Interest Group committees or running for a position on the Selangor Branch Committee (elections are held every two years, with the next one in July 2025). These opportunities allow you to connect with fellow enthusiasts and delve into areas that truly interest you.

Additionally, your expertise and enthusiasm are invaluable to us. Consider volunteering to help out at our many member and public outreach events, or if you have the expertise, consider joining our biodiversity surveys or sharing your knowledge through branch and special interest group talks. Your contributions help advance our collective understanding and foster a thriving community.
