Climate Action Kids Engagement (CAKE) Field Trips 2024

Embark on an immersive nature adventure with your child through our captivating field trips! Led by experienced mentors from MNS Selangor Branch and supported by habitat experts, these half-day excursions offer a unique opportunity for children aged 7 to 18 to connect with the natural world.

During the trip, your child will be paired with caring 'Sisters/Kakak' and 'Brothers/Abang', who will guide them through exciting nature activities while sharing insights on climate change's impact on flora, fauna, and habitats. They'll also learn simple yet impactful ways to advocate for nature conservation.

At the trip's conclusion, mentors validate your child's nature observations, which can contribute to vital conservation efforts. Plus, we're thrilled to extend an invitation to Friends of Bukit Kiara and schoolchildren from low-income families, ensuring all children have access to this enriching experience. Join us for an unforgettable journey into the heart of nature, where curiosity thrives and conservation begins!

Parents are invited to join their children on an enriching field trip aimed at fostering a shared understanding, appreciation, and commitment to nature, in line with the values upheld by the Malaysian Nature Society. To ensure a meaningful experience for all, guardians and friends are kindly requested not to register another person's child on the same booking form, unless you are relatives.

My kid and I participated in the same nature activity but in a different location. Can we participate again?

We appreciate your support! CAKE 2023 participants may join, but priority is given to first-timers.
