Prof. Dr. Jalila Abu is a distinguished veterinarian specialising in avian medicine and wildlife rehabilitation at the University Pertanian Malaysia. With many decades of experience in caring for injured birds, she shares with us insights to identify injuries, nurture and rehabilitate our feathered friends before reaching out to vets for further treatment. The high number of participants (26) is a good indication of caring citizens who are frequently at a loss when injured birds are found in the field or our garden.
